One-Off Poetry Feedback Service Packages | Terms & Conditions
UPDATED OCTOBER 26, 2026
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Client") and The Poetry Vessel, LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By purchasing or participating in this one-time poetry feedback service, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions:
1. Service Scope and Validity
Scope of Service: This service includes a single (1) round of feedback for the exact number of poems purchased at checkout.
One-Time Validity: This service is valid strictly for the specific poem(s) included in this purchase. This offer does not last in perpetuity, and unused poem credits do not roll over or remain valid for future submissions once your order is processed.
Additional Feedback: If you would like to purchase additional poetry feedback, you may do so via our sales page, subject to availability.
2. Turnaround Time & Delivery
Standard Turnaround: Feedback will be delivered within 1–5 business days (excluding weekends and official holidays) from the date of submission.
Volume Delays: While we strive to deliver all feedback within the 1–5 business day window, turnaround times may vary slightly during periods of high queue volume.
3. Submission Guidelines & Formatting Requirements
Poem Length: Each submitted poem must be 40 lines or fewer. Poems exceeding 40 lines will not be reviewed or considered for feedback.
Formatting & Identification: Every submitted document must include your full name and email address. Text must be formatted in a 12-point, clear, legible font (e.g., Times New Roman).
Accepted File Formats: Documents must be submitted as .doc or .docx files. Other file formats will not be accepted.
4. Technical Responsibilities & System Access
Client is responsible for maintaining reliable internet access and access to their submission portal account.
Technical difficulties on the Client’s end do not extend service timelines or grant rights to cancellations.
5. Intellectual Property & Ownership
Author Ownership: You retain full copyright and ownership of all original poetry submitted to the service.
Feedback Ownership: Feedback, notes, and commentary provided to you are for your personal educational use only and may not be resold, published, or redistributed.
6. Content Restrictions & Right of Refusal
Submissions containing hate speech, harassment, or unlawful content will be rejected without review or refund, with immediate termination of services.
7. Refund Policy
Due to the personalized nature of our poetry feedback service and the time dedicated to reviewing your work, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds once a purchase has been completed. However, we are deeply committed to providing thoughtful, high-value insights for your poetry, and we approach every review with care and dedication.
8. Limitation of Liability
Feedback provided by the Company is subjective and intended strictly for educational and instructional purposes. The Company makes no guarantees regarding publication, awards, or commercial success. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Dispute Resolution and Binding Arbitration
Mandatory Arbitration: You agree that any legal dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these terms or services provided by the Company shall be settled exclusively through binding, individual arbitration rather than in a court of law.
Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve all disputes solely on an individual basis and waive any right to bring or participate in a class-action lawsuit or representative proceeding against the Company.
10. Non-Disparagement and Remedies
Public Conduct: You agree not to make false, defamatory, or disparaging statements—whether written, oral, or electronic (including social media posts and public reviews)—that damage the commercial reputation, goodwill, or business operations of the Company.
Remedies for Defamation: In the event of libelous or slanderous statements, the Company reserves the right to seek legal remedies, including injunctive relief and monetary damages.
