Meet Nathan
Originally from Horsham, England, Nathan Hassall earned his Master’s in Creative Writing – Poetry in 2018. His chapbook of haiku, dregsongs from blab cartilage, was published by Bones: A Journal of Haiku and featured as The Haiku Foundation’s Book of the Week. His poetry has also appeared widely across international literary journals. As a poet, educator, and editor, he brings a deep commitment to the transformative power of language.
Through The Poetry Vessel, Hassall offers global poetry education, stewardship to a growing community of over 10,000 dedicated subscribers, and hosts a multidisciplinary podcast. The podcast features a diverse range of guests, including neuroscientists, musicians, poets, and therapists, all exploring the poetic in its many forms. Please include your name and email within each submission document. Use Times New Roman, or another legible font, size 12.

Please do not send me poems generated by AI. Even if it fools me into thinking it is human-made, you are only cheating yourself in learning how to get better at writing poetry. If you send me AI-generated poems, I reserve the right to terminate our editing agreement without refund.
